is a freelance curator who grew up investing herself in various art scenes. She has been dancing from an early age + has taught/choreographed for several companies + independent dancers as well as produced her own dance work. She is passionate about film for dance + collaboration of distinct art disciplines. Her focus + interest lies in gathering elements to make any event an experience with her skill set for organization and functionality, environment and aesthetic, and community + support.




grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago participating in varying art forms that sparked her interests in movement + visual art, interior design + decor, and research in spacial awareness within aesthetics + functionality. She attended the University of Montana where she studied modern dance, emphasizing in choreography & performance, with a minor in fine art, with a strong intrigue in portraiture. she runs her own freelance interior painting + home styling business, Lola Paints, here in portland.

is an accountant with over fifteen years of experience in bookkeeping and CFO services to nonprofit organizations. She graduated from Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University with a B.A. in Accounting and has since worked in big box retail, real estate, manufacturing and nonprofit industries. She regularly attends workshops FOR NON-profit accounting + keeps up-to-date on FASB standards. She is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, The Nonprofit Association of Oregon, + the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). She has experience as a treasurer for small nonprofits + can be found volunteering in the community.




marketing director

is a graphic designer + painter from Portland, Oregon. She received a degree in Graphic Design at Portland State University + has worked as a freelancer in the field since 2013. Maja’s discipline extends to identity design, layout design, art direction, curation, marketing, installation, print collateral, and event production. Her practice embraces the power of collective collaboration as a means towards an inclusive we-not-me movement, within the world of design and otherwise.

graduated from The University of Montana with a BFA in Technical Theater emphasis in Lighting, and has been involved in all aspect of production - from beginning design concepts to the final production. He's had experience working with a 501(c)(3) endowment for high school student that promotes the fine arts and continues to help supervise and manage the endowment. Al has also worked in warehouses maintaining equipment, loading in and setting up conventions, concerts and plays.

has been passionate about social justice issues since she was a teenager. As a native Texan, she spent her time living within the vibrant cultures of Houston, Austin, El Paso and Dallas. These wonderful communities prompted Sofia’s desire to fight to preserve their marvels. Sofia studied social work at The University of Texas at Austin and continued at the university to receive her masters in social work. As Bone Velvet’s Equity and Inclusion Coordinator, she aspires to build a community artistic space where all individuals can celebrate their unique backgrounds.
